Short Info: Indian Institute of Technology has released an official notification regarding GATE 2019. The online application for GATE 2019 will start on 1st September 2018. And, the closing date for application form is 21st September 2018. The Indian Institute of Technology will conduct the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. There are India’s top colleges under IIM which offers the PG courses and Ph.D. courses to B.E/B.Tech graduates through Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. The examination will conduct on 2nd, 3rd, 9th and 10th February 2019.

GATE 2019 Application Form
GATE 2019 application form will be available on the official website of IIT. The application filling procedure is very simple for GATE 2019. Candidates need to visit the official portal with respect to apply for GATE 2019. They have to provide required asked information for make registration. Candidates need to make registration first if they are new. And, they are registered, they can fill the application form directly by providing their registration id. Candidates have to apply before the last date because after the last date the authority will not accept any GATE 2019 application form. They also should be careful about their eligibility criteria. Only those candidates will be able to apply who will eligible in all respects. And they also should be careful while making the online application. If there will be any error or fake information in GATE 2019 application form will be rejected by the authority.
GATE 2019 Examination
There are total 24 streams. Candidates can apply for one out of 24. Many private companies and PU’s will recruit candidates on the basis of their GATE exam Score Card/Rank. The GATE examination is conducted to analysis logical skills as well as technical skills and mathematics skills by seven IITs. These seven IITs are Bombay, Guwahati, Delhi, Kharagpur, Kanpur, Roorkee and Madras. It is one of the toughest examinations of India.

How to Apply for GATE 2019
- First of all, candidates need to visit official website i.e, www.iitm.ac.in
- If you have registered id then login, if you don’t have then sign up
- After that fill the GATE Application Form
- Provide personal details, educational details, Upload your scanned photograph and signature
- Make the online payment by net banking/debit card/credit card
- Read the filled application form carefully and if there is an error, correct it
- After that, hit on submit and take a hard copy for further use
GATE 2019 Admit Card
Those candidates who will apply for GATE 2019, they need to know about the admit card availability. The admit card will available on the official website to download. Admit card will be displayed on 4th Jan 2018. Candidates should download the admit card before the 3-4 days of the examination. And if they got an error in the admit card, they should inform about it to the authority. So that authority can short out the problem. Admit card is a very important document for each applied candidate. Because, it has some important information regarding candidate and exam-like candidate’s name, his/her parent’s name, his/her scanned signature, and photograph and exam timing, exam venue address and exam date. Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions and Numerical Answer Type
No. of Questions: 65 question for maximum 100 marks
Marking Scheme: MCQ questions will carry 1 mark and NAT questions will carry 2 marks
Negative Marking: 1/3 negative marking for MCQ questions and 2/3 negative marking for NAT questions
New Section: In the paper of XE, a new section (H) namely Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences has been included from the year 2018
